Review of economic and investment capacities in a meeting with the Governor of Zanjan
In the first program of this trip, Masoud Asadi Taheri, Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of Taknar Copper Mines Complex Co., together with a group of the company’s managers and members of its leadership, met and held discussions with Ali Kazemi, Governor of Zanjan. The meeting was held with the participation of economic managers and officials involved in following up on investment matters at the Zanjan Governorate.
At this meeting, Zanjan Province’s economic capacities and potential areas of cooperation with Taknar Copper Mines Complex Co. were discussed. The company’s capabilities in mining and copper, opportunities to expand economic and industrial activities, and the possibility of using the province’s existing capacities to broaden joint cooperation were among the topics of this conversation.
Given that Zanjan Province has industrial capacity and hosts units related to the processing and production of copper products, reviewing areas of engagement between the mining sector and downstream industries can help identify new investment opportunities, strengthen links among production and commercial units, and facilitate industrial cooperation.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of constructive interaction between economic entities and executive bodies in identifying investment opportunities, reviewing possible obstacles, and creating the conditions for industrial development.

Discussion with the Advisor and Director General of the Governor’s Office on Zanjan’s mining capacities
Continuing the trip program, the visiting delegation of Taknar Copper Mines Complex Co. met and held discussions with Ali Andarzgou, Advisor and Director General of the Governor’s Office.
At this meeting, Zanjan Province’s capacities in mining and related industries—particularly copper mines and industrial units producing cathode and other copper products using industrial furnaces—were highlighted.
The parties reviewed potential areas of cooperation between Taknar Copper Mines Complex Co. and the province’s industrial operators. Understanding the capabilities of production units, assessing existing capacities in the copper product supply and sales chain, and reviewing opportunities for cooperation between the mining sector and processing industries were among the topics addressed in this program.
Visits to copper production plants and product storage centers
Continuing the trip, the CEO and accompanying delegation visited two industrial units active in furnace-based copper billet production at the Zanjan Industrial Estate.
During these visits, the delegation became closely acquainted with the production activities of these units, and existing capacities for producing copper products, industrial facilities, and potential areas of cooperation with Taknar Copper Mines Complex were reviewed.
The visiting delegation also toured the final copper products warehouse and the concentrate depot. This visit was conducted to gain a closer familiarity with product storage conditions, existing warehousing capacities, and related aspects of the supply, sales, and marketing chain for mineral products.
Visiting these centers provided an opportunity to better understand the operational and commercial capacities of copper industry operators and to review the possibility of expanding engagement between producers and suppliers of mineral materials.
